Comfortable accommodation with a friendly touch

At The Old Bakery all rooms are furnished in contemporary style with guest comfort in mind from the cotton duvet covers to the flatscreen TV's with freeview, DVD and iPod docking so you can listen to your own music.

Complimentary toiletries are provided along with lovely, soft towels to help wash away the day's activities.

There are complimentary fair-trade teas and coffees in all rooms and home made cakes for when you arrive.

Our "Green" Credentials!

Since August 2011 we have been generating our own carbon-free electricity using photovoltaic panels on our roof which provide us with a significant proportion of our electricity. Plus our ex-battery hens provide us with ultra fresh free range eggs for your breakfast!

Rooms

Putsborough (Twin beds)

Putsborough has twin beds with en-suite shower and toilet. Located on the first floor, it is light and airy with beautiful views over the garden and down the valley towards Croyde.

Barricane (Double bed)

Barricane is our cosy double room. Located on the first floor, it has a large en-suite bathroom next door complete with a lovely roll-top bath.

Baggy Point (Twin or Super King with pull out sofa bed)

Baggy Point is our largest room with two divan beds and a good sized en-suite shower and toilet. The beds can be arranged as either twins or a Super King to suit. There is also a sofa bed that can accommodate up to 2 additional people. Located in the annex on the ground floor, it has a view into the garden and may suit people with mobility limitations.

Guest Kitchen

Our special feature is that the kitchen is available to guests throughout the day once we have finished serving breakfast giving added flexibility to your catering arrangements. Feel free to have a long lie in then make yourself brunch or cook an evening meal. The village shop and Post Office is underneath us and well stocked!

Groups booking all 3 guest rooms have the option to fully self-cater.

Alternatively you can walk the short distance to either of our two excellent local pubs for a great meal, and there are many more eating options in the wider area.

Putsborough Beach Car Park Passes

We have passes to Putsborough Beach car park at the much reduced rate of £3.00 per use (saving up to £4.00 on the normal rate)
